I have a XS 400 DOHC 12E model and i found this on it but i dont know what it is. its next to the oil filter

under the motor near the front of the bike, and i can see that it leaks a little but i cant get a gasket for something i dont know what is hope you can help

It's a filter screen. If you take that off ( after draining the oil preferably) you will find rubber "table" with a fine mesh screen. Part no.1L9-13414-10-00 for the gasket
