what other swing arm fits the 400?

well,there's the question..mine is rotten and can't find another here in the uk.. was wondering what other model's fit? 250,sr500??

The xs250/360 will work for the sohc bikes.

Does the engine have two cams on the top of the engine and no frame under it? If it does then is a dohc bike. Pics of if will help with your questions

If your frame has no down tube under the engine it dohc if not not then you have sohc.

I haven't gotten the chain on yet. But all the brakes linkage lines up. From eye balling the sprocket it looks like it would fit. Maybe just shorten or extend the chain needed

What kind of modifications did the swing-arm and triple require?

Nothing for the swing arm. It was a straight swap other than the rear passenger foot rest touch a slight bit. Bent it out with a pair of pliers. The triple well need to have a spacer or sleeve machined. There is less than 1/4 inch gap between the top bearing nut and triple clamp.
