Hey guys,
I have the XS400 R Seca with the "Gear-Looking" (as opposed to the football-looking one) and my gas cap is broken on the outside. I can still open it to fill it, but some of the "gear teeth" are missing from the outside. I wasn't too concerned about it until I ordered a used tank (long story) and discovered that their gas cap had fallen INTO the tank and was rattling around. (film at 11pm).
Anyway, I need to find a new cap so that I can avoid a similar fate to the replacement tank... but I see a ton of the replacement/reproduction "football-looking" ones and not really any of the gear ones...
Are they interchangeable? Do other brands/generics/years fit correctly?

PS- I can post pics of my current cap and the alternative in case my lack-of-adjectives is as awful as I think it is.
