Looks like by letter of law i can run a single beam headlight with antique plates. What i would like to verify is can i run the headlight and brake tail right from headlight relay wire at the alternator. Doing this i need no light switch at all. Bike only has headlamp brake tail and license plate light.

I would run an LED tail/brake light to give the alternator an easier time and watch the watts on the front lamp.

the center tap yellow wire from the alternator only puts out 6 to 8 volts to trip the relay, don't think you can use it to power a headlight

Wasnt quite sure how that wire worked thanks. So if i use a relay to kick the lights on and wire the lights to the battery i should be good. Headlamp is 55watt taillight is from a trailer coils and condenser and horn is all i have for electric. If i have to i can drop wattage on headlamp but im still running less electrics than factory. Im still in my bosses project budget 0 dollars.
