XS400 Brat seat and kick up frame hoop.

Looking for some info. I have been reading and searching but so far I cannot find what I need.

$270 seat on a $450 bike is no bueno.
There are a few seats on eBay that seem to have the width needed for the rear frame. I know that I can make one, I made a seat pan and had it covered for $60 at a local auto upholstery shop for my old CB360.

But I am looking for a quick & easy solution as I have lots of projects to do and I want to get the seat & tires figured out before I tear into this too much.

I will start a build thread soon. here is the bike. I bought a parts bike and swapped the wires for mags yesterday. The parts bike is in front and I only paid $80 for it.

I fitted a SR400 seat the same as that but without the truck roll stitching. Here what I did

its not quick and easy because u need a pipe bender of some sort, as you will not find a rear loop with this long sweeping angle.

I have seen them fitted to a generic rear hoop with a kick up but theres big gaps and doesnt look quite right.
