Hello I have purchase a rubber gas seal from Mikexs Part #20-0036. I have a 1980 Yamaha XS400SG. This rubber seal looks as though its to small for my gas cap. Is this the right rubber gas seal for my bike?

I noticed you said you went up 1size on your pilot jet screws. Search this forum for rejetting procedures. I not sure, but if you went up one size on the pilots, then you must resize something else. Search for rejetting.

I have the Mikuni B34 carbs. I notice at times when my bike is idling, I hear a pop coming from the right side exhaust pipe. Could that be because I am running to lean or to rich? What does running to lean or to rich mean?

I have been reading a lot on rejetting. I have a 1980 Yamaha XS400SG. I have it running pretty good. I was wondering what is rejetting, and what effect does it have on the bike. I was considering rejetting my bike, no changes to the exhaust. I will continue to run stock pipes...
I just wanted to see if these wires would fit , becayse they are red, and my bike is red. So I wanted to put red wires on my bike, and I google red wires and this is what came up.
