Hey guys I’ve got an 81 xs400 that I’ve slowly been doing a brat build on. I’d like to chop the frame soon and weld in a hoop for a new seat. My question is will my stock battery box work with a seat? My buddy told me I’d have to lower the battery but I don’t see why I’d have to do that. It looks like the battery would sit right under a seat. Would just like some verification. Sorry if this has been covered I’ve searched but haven’t found anything about this.
