local craigslist battery - supposedly brand new for sale model YTZ10S only $50. The Yuasa chart says not compatible. Yuasa Dimensions are 6 x 3 7/16 x 3 11/16. IF I can make it fit, ( might be 1/2 " too long) is there any reason not to use it?

What kind of foam are you guys using for your battery boxes? I've searched but can't find what type I assume some dense closed cell stuff but will cheap ole polystyrene do? I'm just worried about the battery getting warm and melting polystyrene. Thx
