Will a set of 1978 fork tubes fit the 1977 triple tree, real stupid question but want to make sure before.

Thanks, gettin the triple tree with it so hopefully all works out, mine are rusted and pitted just wanna clean it up.
Just because it is vaguely related:
I put '81 forks on my '78 no problem. The triple trees are different at the steering stem bearing If I recall correctly, but the forks swapped out no problem. Of course both were setup with drum brakes up front.
