do I just swap my speedo and tach cables out? or is there anything special I have to do?

are you asking if speedo/tacho cables are interchangable, or if you can just "plug and play" a new speedo/tacho by just connecting the cable to it?

Sorry! I meant do they just pull out or will I have to remove the front wheel for speedometer cable?

No wheel removal. If you unscrew the speedo cable at the wheel, the inside drive cable will slip right out.
