Blinkers both flashing quickly

So I installed a new speedo and tach I ordered from xs650direct. Speedo is LED...the stock has both signals, as this speedo has just one...I just merged the wires and connected them...so either signal and both sides, all four blinkers flash, ---*---*---* medium pause with quick flash. Now my rear signals aren't bolted onto the frame, maybe a grounding issue?

You are going to have to install diodes to electrically separate the left and right signal circuits.

precisely that what dave said. Simply merging the wires causes this to happen. Also, let's see the new speedo?
