Only rain tonight in the Seattle area, but hey that's the weather report 11 months out of the year here. Snow before Halloween though, looks like it may be a hard winter.

Not up here! Seems like we got hit with the shit a little late this year, last year our 1st snow was Sept 21, and it was a cold winter. Generally Halloween is when the snow is here to stay (till about early-mid April). . . . One thing about living here is . ... A white Christmas . . . guaranteed! . . here is a pic of the second snowfall (Oct. 03) with about another 5 cm. expected overnight .. . the long hours of wrenching / no riding are at hand.

Here in Bellingham (north of seattle) it's been clear and sunny, but freezing cold. Hit a "puddle" of black ice on my way to work the other morning. Nothing serious, but a major wake-up call! Better than coffee...
