bronze swingarm bushings, are OEM style seals needed?

My new bronze swingarm bushings came in yesterday, before I put it back together I thought Id ask about the seals the Mikes XS sells, do I need a pair? I cant remember if there were any in there when I tore the swing arm off before sending it to the blasters / powder coat shop! Let me know, Id rather build it right the first time!

I don't know for certain, but I'd be inclined to install seals to keep the crap out. It would be a shame to have to replace the bushings next year because they had sand and grit get into them and wore out.

I put mine back in and bought extra shims to ensure correct end float
