first bike xs400 bobber

Hey everyone I am new here and just got my first bike. An 81 xs400 bobber. Got it on a trade for two guns. So far love the bike. Have been using this sight a lot just reading and learning about the bike and helping me along as I do minor work on the bike, ex changing carb mounts reading about jetting, some simple wiring, air intake stuff like that. Great site btw!! Anyways figured I'd post some pics of the bike. I've mainly done some painting and cosmetic work on the bike. Bed linered the tank and fender and pin striped the both of them. Also did a coon hide seat. Let me know what u guys think.

I like the more subtle pin stripes. Mad max the hell out of that bike. I think it just needs a little detail work.

Thanks guys it was my first time striping so I think it came out pretty well.
And bcware I do have a welder. What did u have in mind to weld?

Maybe a bigger tire-hugging rear fender or an electrics box combined with some pod air filters so that center area of the bike is empty. I always liked the way that looked Bah, I am always wanting to change things on mine. It's fun!

I have thought about the open center area of the bike with pod filters tho idk how to go about doing that. so for now I might just get the pod filters and keep the box how it is. tho the good news is I just recently got 2 more xs400 and am working on customizing them currently so ill have a lot more ability to make them any way I want since the other one I got was basically done and I just did some cosmetic work to it.
