seat building

looking to find out what everyone uses for pad and material along with what it is built of ie fiberglass/wood/plastic core? looking to build a brat style seat for my scrambler/brat its my first seat build so go easy and looking for ideas on how to do it

Skate board makes a good base to start from. Get foam from a arts/ fabric store.

Yep used a skateboard on the bratstyle seca. Easy to trim/add hardware to, makes upholsering easy...

can you tag the thread on it and also skateboard didnt even think of that... go figure something easily gotten also and what kind of foam are you using open cell closed cell? how soft or how hard?

The thread has does not have the seat process in it...it's my buddy's bike he got a broken skateboard free from a board shop in town, ha has it upholstered professionally...2 inch closed cell if I remember correctly...a bit hefty in my taste but...not mine so...
