thats the color i was invisioning! god its gonna look so sick with that gray. i saw a triumph bobber in the last issue of old skool RODZ with the same scheme. it looked awesome
good start, tank looks great,go with the white frame and dont think so much on the other stuff, once you get some color on the frame the rest will come to ya.
nah...I chickened out...went with a silver metallic frame...but its gonna come together I think...might have to go a different route with the wheel color...maybe just sand blast to bare metal and see from there.
ordered a ducati 750 wide seat/tail from airtech...should be here in a few weeks.
I really wanted to make my own...but lack of time and proper tools to do so was making the project drag on.So I popped for the online purchase, and will achieve the look I want ...I can spend time elsewhere...and I'll still need plenty of that to get it ready for summer.
I should start a thread called 'the crap that grows legs during the build'...I spend more time looking for stuff than I do assembling it.
Pretty soon I'll get to the paint!
haha i hear ya. i bought 6 head lights/buckets and made them looks pretty, just to use the second one i got. lol. im running mids, yet for some reason i have plans and am collecting materials for forward controls and a special jockey shift? idk why. lol
coming along great skillz!!! are you putting the battery in the tail? thats what im working on now. i made a box to fit but it looks crappy so i scrapped it. back to the drawing board.
i found the cdi box fits nicely under the tank, under the top tube and between the two side tubes (right above the carbs), I tie wrapped mine in there and it fits nicely and is clean
looking good I guess my exhaust is definitly MAC, its identicle to yours
