Made tabs for mounting my forward controls to the frame. Got my carbs torn back apart and soaking for fresh rebuild tomorrow night. Not much left.

Picked up a 35º banjo at the local Harley Ferguson dealership, which is the closest shop to me, and also found some great riding boots on sale there.

Registered all the bikes today for another yearMade my own auxiliary fuel tank for syncing the carbs.

I took my xs400 for a spin it was freezing with the wind but soooo worth it cant wait for warmer weather. I'm in northern ny by the Vermont/Canadian/New York border so the weather is always crappy, plus we have like a 4-5 month ride season and I need all the time I can get.

Yeah it was fun. Can't wait to build a cafe.
Gathered all my pieces and parts into one huge pile. Everything's ready to go for when I get back from Atlanta in a month. If I'm lucky, I'll have this thing built by mid June.

Been riding steady all winter. Starting to peel as it gets warmer.
Changed the main jets for the umpteenth time. Down to 120. Bike ran better each time I went smaller. Started at 130. Discovered I can remove and replace the carbs without taking off the tank and seat. 83 Seca DOHC with a Maxim motor, foam filters and brand x mufflers.
No more hesitation above 7000 revs, but not tried on freeway in 5th. 3rd and 4th revs to 10,000 fine. Went back to 17 teeth on front sprocket and bought a new non O ring chain. Has a lot less drag. removed the two Givi saddle bags, and bolted on two ammo cases. $25- each.

Bought it for $300.first bike.traded it for a Suzuki savage with a ten over Columbia industries Springer.bought it back for $300.(Springer worth about $600)traded it for a goldwing worth about $2000.bought it back for $300.traded it for a parts Vulcan 750 plus $100.bought it back(the guy with the savage had gotten hold of it again and was surprised it was my old bike)for $200 in the same exact state I left her in.just gotta apply for lost title.so Mai Ling has done me well.the funny thing is the bike came to me.I knew it was her before I got near the truck.she ain't goin nowhere now
What happened to the title? Was it ever registered after you sold it?
