Actually it is a little more complicated here in Illinois. I don't remember all the steps required to obtain the title, I just "found" another way to plate it and drive it and decided not to go through the hassle. I could do that again this season, but I really wanted to clean this thing up...
So no one's interested in this thing?? I know it has no title, but there is a way around this:wink2:...that's how I was able to plate it and drive it. If even for a parts bike, someone could probably make some decent money off of this thing. Any offers???
What's up guys, I'm looking to sell my 1976 XS360 and what better place to sell it than here. The only pics/video I've got are from a couple of years ago when I first bought it. It's still basically the same except for some clubman bars, brand new tires (no more then 100 miles) and...
Yeah sorry, I didn't read through all the posts before. It looks like I'll be trying the Tridon EP34 since it looks like it's available at my local auto parts store.
Thanks
Question for you gurus out there - I just installed some LED turn signals I bought last night...but they don't blink/flash?? I've been reading about other people installing LED turn signals and they're problem with them blinking too fast but mine don't flash at all. Any ideas as to why this...
Ok, so I went to every store in my area and I couldn't find anyone that sells an AGM battery specifically for my XS360. I had my battery with me and we measured what they said was the closest they had and still all were too big. Which brings me to my question...I found the battery in the link...
What's up everyone, I was just hoping someone in here had a titled frame that they didn't need/want anymore. I was hoping for a '70's frame but will consider early '80's also. I've been looking everywhere but can't seem to find one that comes with a title. I've tried searching craigslist -...
LOL...I figured the title would grab someones attention in one way or another.
Haven't check the bearings, but I'll check them out also when I take the front end apart. Thanks Hough!
Question for all you gurus out there. I took my bike out for a quick test spin after I put my new clubman/ace bars on it and every once in a while the steering would feel "loose" if that makes sense. It feels like something on the forks, wheel...not sure. I tightened down everything on the...
Yeah I have a '76 XS360 with wire wheels...so I guess that means I'll be needing tubes right? Is there something specific I should be looking for in tubes? Again, sorry for my ineptitude.
So I'm about to order my tires from motorcycle-superstore and have no idea whether or not I need inner tubes for the tires??:banghead: I've seen some tires that say tube type and some that say tubeless. I'm ordering the Bridgestone BT45's and can't figure out which these are. Could...
I ended up ordering parts from www.nwvcp.com and www.yamahapartshouse.com for my bike. Nwvcp was slightly more expensive but I placed my order late Sunday night and by Wednesday I had my parts. Yamaha parts house took a little longer but still had good customer service...and was a little cheaper.
Another noob question for you veterans...would a 100/90/18 front tire fit on my XS360? It has a 90/90/18 on there right now and might be able to pick up a pair of tires for cheap but I need to know if this size will fit on the front. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
So I swapped out my floats and float bowl gaskets, did a tune-up and oil change and got her running. Still have to play with the idle mixture and little things here and there...but it runs! I took it around the block a couple of times and it feels pretty good :bike: Working on getting it...
