Go for it it's shouldn't be that hard I have done it to my Sportster and love it! I am reworking my son's bike and am considering setting it up with a suicide clutch before giving it back to him. What kind of pointers are you looking for?
Correct that is complete overkill on the speed holes!!!!! I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!!!!! if a few looks good a lot looks better :D:D no offence but in my opinion mags are ugly so you might as well drill the hell out of them to make them look better. Good luck and go with what you like ;)...
No that should be fine have you checked your charging system? And I know it a stupid question but if you are hooked straight to the high beam (or both high and low) are you sure you are using the correct ground terminal on the lamp?

For the record this bike kicks ass :thumbsup:I'm just mad that you posted a video of you doing wheelies! Now I really want to get mine running!!!! :bike: and here I thought I was rolling along pretty good with my 6 month build:banghead: two and a half weeks really!!!!!! Now I feel like such a...
Did you do away with the head light relay? If so what did you do with the white wire? If that's hooked up to something it could drain the whole system?

Pin gauges would be the proper way but you probably don't have them. If you have a set Of tiny drill bits you can use the shaft side like you would feeler gauges slide them in and the one that slides in snugly without binding or being forced is the size

Check the mounting and the connections if the light is loose or getting excessive vibrations ( bad motor mounts/ wheel out of balance etc) it will kill your light quickly. I've also found that if the connections to the bulb are loose that can burn up lights too. 12-14 volts is normal and...
thanks scorp Ive been thinking of using some of the short cheep baffles off ebay or the lollipop "baffles" that Ive seen have any of you guys used either one or heard a bike run with them? I would love to be able to hear one run with them. I tried the baffle type in my iron head chopper and they...
I know I could do these different but I like the style they are going black with chrome heat shields. so you can see that mufflers are not an option. we want them to be loud but don't want a fix it ticket every time he gets pulled over.
Thanks guys. I like those kindest that's what I was going to use but now I'm thinking about a high and tight set of pipes running next to the cylinders so I'm going to have to just baffle them

First off I'm sorry if this has been covered before I'm on my phone and the search feature won't work I'm planning on running a new exhaust to look like straight pipes but I want to put in the stubby baffles to keep the MAN off my boy's back he's 16 so he'll have enough of those problems as well...
I hear ya on that but being a gun maker I have 4140 with a spiral hole in the middle readily available :) but you're right its overkill on these little bikes
