Well I'm pretty much done with the bottom end and that's all good.. But I wanted to remove the valve cover and points cover to polish, and permanently cap off the leaky tach hole..... Learned from the forum that its pointless and a pain in the ass to remove points cover so .... Tried removing...

motor is out as of last week .. i work in an awesome machine shop.. so since my kickstart journal is broke into i'm going to take the bottom case off and weld the aluminum!.. also i have two header bolts that are broke off ... one is still flush the other has a tap broke off inside off it...

one of the guys had posted about how on one side the flange that has the gap and holds your pipes on, wouldn't come off bc it seemed to be bent down.. well i had that problem too, my inside bolt was bent inward and down.. finished putting one pipe on, then decided to try and bend the other one...
