Reworked the exhaust, took a little welding and busted knuckles but they turned out pretty good.
Started cleaning up the aluminum covers
I didn't fire it up yet, I ended up redoing a bunch of the wiring and built a new battery box. I'll fire it up soon, just missing a few small pieces to the electrical system.Your bike just keeps getting better. How's it sound with those pipes on?
Got the right side of the bike buttoned up, it's starting to get there. Need to get my sprockets/ chain installed and then I can finish it up. Tank mod and paint is next on the menu.
I'll paint the tank, but I'm going to go with an early 1970's AT1/DT1 tank badge. Not sure what colors I'll go with yet.Looking real good there, Atomic Wedgie! I'm diggin' the tank in natural. What are your thoughts on paint? It must sound awesome with those pipes.
Man, that's a good price for those tires. Found them online for $45!!I was looking at the dunlop k70s as well but the sizes just didn't work out. I found these duro hf308's. Cheaper and more sizes.
No electric start, just kick.I am interested in how those pipes are sounding too! Do you have electric start?
