I sent my Stator to these guys to get rewound. I own a SOHC which apparently has a rare stator ($100 vs $40 for the DOHC on Ebay). I called these guys and they did the stator for $90 including return shipping they also rewired it all the way to the plug. That was such a good deal, I paid an extra $40 to have the field coil rewound while I was at it that also included new wires including neutral safety and oil pressure wire. In total, it was $130 bucks (which is cheaper than buying it used) and it will now last me another 30 years. The service was freaky fast. He was returning it to me within 24 hours.
This is a legit business and I would definitely refer them to a friend. Their web site stinks but just calling them is fine. I just sent him the stator with my name and phone number along with the page out of the manual showing the specs. I didn't have to pay until he was finished and ready to ship it out. Great business!!
