Hi just want to prensenter myself, a young man of 44 from Denmark who found your forum when I searched for information about my seca.
She's 89 and 50000 km on the clock and is still running perfectly :bike:
Going with thinking about building her to the cafe racer or street fighter. and have got many good ideas in here.
The problem is that in Denmark, do not change the frame without further fee, so everything must be made on the original frame, so there will be some challenges.
I'm not good at writing English, so I use goggle translate, hope it makes sense. :)
Looking forward to many hours of interesting reading here on the forums

Nice looking bike! The paint is in great shape, and everything looks original. Are you missing rear turn signals?

You can still make some good changes without cutting the frame. New handlebars, mirrors, lights/turn signals, even a new seat. The shape of the frame on a Seca/Maxim makes it more difficult to get the flat look of a cafe racer (and fitting a different gas tank would take some modifications and welding), but the street fighter look should be doable.

Thanks, no, I'm about to mount some small LED turn signal on, so I have the original. Perhaps keeping the original look

Hello!

I have to say I am kind of glad to hear this. Looks like a great stock bike.

Thanks for the welcome.
I have some ideas for the seatpan where I use the original rear fairing and one without, so it will accommodate 2 people. I will post pictures when I go work with the seatpan
