Gauge Cluster Backlight

I had to open up my gauge cluster to check my noisy tach and i also needed to replace backlight. Well i couldnt replace the back light because the wedge bulb socket looks to be cut off, just a pair of wires hanging loosewtf. so i ended up using LED strips inside gauge cluster housing. I think it turned out great and also think its brighter than the stock halogens(i wanted it brighter). Maybe someone can post a pic of the cluster with halogens. So, just wanted to share what i did.

Those almost look TOO bright. You could always hide a potentiometer somewhere for a dimmer dial.

Its not as a bright as is seen on this picture, but yes adding a pot would be handy.
