help on fender decision

What's up! Almost finished with my second xs400 bobber frame. Second build ever btw. Wanted to get a few opinions on which fender looks better. The bobbed fender, or the trimmed xs400 stock fender. All holes and things will be filled on the stock fender. Also plan to rattle bomb the tons candy green in about a month. All opinions welcome.

Thanks alot. That one had the edge for me as well. Any ideas on how to prep that one for paint?

Buffing wheel and a dab of chrome polish.

Is the chrome chipping? If not, just take some scotchbrite or similar and scuff it, then wipe down and dry then paint like normal.

If it is peeling I'd sand blast it.
