I joined the sit awhile ago but i just seen the intro and thought id do one. Im 27 and bought a 80 XS400 Special SG (3F9) from a friend for 300. It ran but barely. So far i have done the plugs,wires,oil change put a new battery in cleaned the carbs converted all the lights to LED put on some drag bars, grips and bar switches. I also have been taking parts off on the weekends cleaning and painting them
. So far in the 2 months ive had it i've been riding it all over cant get enough of it. My sons always wanting to ride with me and my girlfriend went for a ride 1 time and in that time she screamed slow down at 30 and burnet the shit out of her ankle (i told her to put her boots on
.)But hey the kid likes it. The 2nd pic is what im doing now front brake pads and a lil resto project just some paint and new head light brackets.
