So at the beginning of this Canadian winter, I'd known but how to change my turn signals(crapily) and how to do an oil change, next to chain cleaning and maintenance...that's pretty much all I'd known til I'd really started reading on this forum, I'd learned plenty here and want to share lol the progress is coming along. I'm starting carbs week, I guess

My build off an 83 maxim consists of
-monostrut out, tube in, hardtail
-Mac 2-1 exhaust
-pods on stacks thanx to a friend on here
-springer seat
-chain link sissy bar, highway pegs, maybe on the handlebars too(haven't decided)
-fender from princess auto
-plastidipped last year, gonna paint soon
She's not much but she's good for me

That's pretty much my build in broad strokes
I'll have pics uploaded later on. I'm going for a "chopper" type I guess, cuz I'm going to make a passenger pad.

Currently I'm stuck with the pilot jets...I done stripped them pretty bad thinking I was getting them out...

Thought I'd update, got the holes drilled for my fender and sissybar...did the backbone to replace the monostrut, went with 12" eye to eye, next will be the carb boiling and cleaning....installed a speedo and tach from xs650direct. Used the original mounts, modded it and made it work

I have pictures on my Instagram, kingjetpack

I'll post more pics here if I get to a computer, otherwise, follow me!
