New member with '81 xs400

My friend Matt Mooney recommended I join this forum since I own a 1981 Yamaha xs400 special. I bought the bike with 9,000 miles back in 2008 with the engine painted black, dumb tribal decals on the fenders and straight pipes. Leaks and burns a little oil but otherwise sounds great. Now the bike has 13,500 mies and will need a new chain and carb cleaning.

nice bike man. looks like a good canidate for a chop! lol. i think its a great looking stocker. used, but not abused, and with the correct about of riding patina. nice ride
