Here are a couple color photos as it sits in my shop right now...
I still have a loooong way to go. Waiting for it to get a little warmer in my shop before I really get moving on it. Once I figure out a battery solution, weld on mounting tabs for the CDA and RR, it's final teardown time, clean up, powder coat, paint and upholstery. I also have to find the right fuel fittings and an inline petcock - which shouldn't be hard.
I am running an LED headlight and will have an LED taillight soon. No gauges, dummy lights, turns, etc... Kick only. Is anyone here using one of those smaller, 1.2 or 2.0 aH batteries? If so, how do they work? Life span? Charging? Cold weather?
I had a 4-cell antigravity battery in it for awhile. It worked great until it didn't, so I'd like to go with something more reliable and proven, as I've heard our old bikes don't play nice with Li-Ion batteries.
