I'm doing this and my weapom of choice is an 83 xs400 seca.

Its in aid of cancer research. In return for donations i will display your personal message on a sticker on the bike.

awesome challenge, cool seca, I don't think you'll have many problems as long as you keep them carbs clean

the stock tank was very rotten so the carbs were full of rust it took 2 attempts to clean them properly

The Seca is in bits at the moment i've decided to get it running and if the challenge is on again next year i'll use it. if not then some restification will be happening.

suffering from white line fever ;o)

I understand why Harley riders have problems with their hands because of vibration (white finger)
my right hand isstill tingley after a week and i have no grip strength
Still want to do it again hopefully on the xs this time.

install a manual cruise control/ throttle holder to help prevent right hand tingling. Cruising with loose hands is great
