Starter clutch kit not the same as original?

I ordered a kit from yambits and it finally arrived after 6 weeks. It's the starter clutch kit. I checked the kit and it seems to be the right one for my 1980 bike. But the springs have a tighter wind and are shorter. Anyone else remember this? I tested It and it still skips. I took it apart and reassembled it and now I'm waiting for battery to charge to test.

Pulled springs out. Still not working.

My springs measure 35mm uncompressed.
The little spring guide/cap adds about 1.3mm to that length.
The rollers themselves are 15mm.

I'd contact yambits. Their customer service is pretty good.
