Trouble with slipping and not engaging Clutch?!?!

Hi, I am having some trouble with my clutch and could do with some pointers. When adjusting the cable it either doesn't engage enough and goes straight into gear, meaning the bike stalls or the clutch slips while riding. Is this just a question of a new clutch cable or a new clutch (bike has only done 4000 miles!) Thanks in advance. Sam

There are a few things it could be. What kind of oil are you using? Have you adjusted the clutch at the left side of the motor under the rubber plug? Did it work ok then start this issues?

I adjusted the clutch under the bung according to the manual then let the bike just run for a bit as it hasn't ran for a while and now seems fine. Cheers
