What tube just fell off my bike?

Just went to go adjust something on my rear break and saw a tube hanging disconnected right by by rear wheel. I gave it a little pull to try to see where it was connected or running to and it came out, disconnected.

Any idea what this is? My thinking was an old breather tube for the battery. Is this likely, or should I be concerned / attaching it to something else?

Your guess is correct, battery breather tube.
Neither of my bikes have batteries with vents so they've both been removed.

Awesome, thanks. I was pretty sure that's all it was but at the same time, seeing anything fall off your bike is alarming.
