Hi guys,

Im from the big brother site, XS650.com. Recently i bought a set of hubs for my XS650 project, appears the front hub is not for the 650 and we worked it out it may be an XS360 76/77 hub.

Does anyone have any info on the XS360 hub. From what i have been told the XS360 had an 18"front rim, any help or info apreciated

If any one is interested i will sell it with spacer and speedo drive, bearings feel smooth.

XS360 hub on the left. 6 1/2 mm narrower than the XS650/TX750 hub

XS360 on left. Before i polished it.

These pics i took as a comparison when i was trying to find out what it was. The hub has the spacer and speedo drive, (Same as the 650 hub and the axle is the same as well).

mine is 44mm outside to outside.

I thought the XS400 had a drum front brake. All the pics i have found shows a drum

Most of the pics i have found has the blind for the second disk in plastic. The early, TX750's, 2 types of blinds, TX500's and XS650 up till 77 had the same metal blind as the one i have. They are interchangeable so could have been changed any time.

The larger hub in the pics is a TX750, exactly the same as the XS650.

I own that bike, lemme go look.

I get 157mm from outer flange to outer flange of the spoke hub. Or about 1 and 5/8ths inches

so it looks like you have my hub.

Well your not getting it back:D

Your 1 5/8" is about 37mm and i get that if i measure in between the flanges

Xs400`s most of them that I know have disc front brakes. Some have either rear drum or disc rear.

Google XS400 search shows a lot of Drum brake front wheels, (Spoke), and a couple of spoke fronts with disc brake.

All mags have the disc.

I was sold this as an XS650 hub, hate it when sellers misrepresent parts. If i can identify exactly what it is then i will on sell it.

Thanks

Thats cool, I come from an age where i grew up with feet and Inches, and use mm in my work all the time, Still convert, in my head, back to Yards/feet/inches quite a lot.

25mm = 1", 1/2" = 12mm, roughly/near enough

Thanks for your help.
