'82 XS400r -first bike
I'm sad to see her go, but this is a 1982 XS400R Seca. This is the "Special" Racing version of the old style cafe racers modernized for the street.
She was my first bike and a project bike. The last owner didn't take too good of care of her, but I've since fixed her up best I could.
Here's what I've done:
-Rebuilt the front break caliper
-New master cylinder
-New plugs
-New air boots
-New battery
-Oil/oil filter
-Air filter
-New Chain
-New drum brakes
-and a new rear tire
She needs:
-New fork seals (I have them)
-Fuel Cap
-Speedometer Cable
I've also rebuilt both carbs, replaced the signal lights and tail light. (tail light's off of a harley -I know I know, don't judge me)
She's perfect for beginners and people who like to tinker. Don't let the pictures fool you, she needs some paint but it is a 30 year old bike.
Unfortunately I don't have the title for it, but a bonded title, which will turn into a full title after five years, is $175.
Feel free to ask any questions. You also get a bag of spare parts I've collected (cables, brake lines etc). Also, the bike is currently in Arlington, Texas.
