Hi Guys , just a few pics to see what you think of my project so far
going to start work on the engine and cant deside on painting the engine mat black with just a few bits polished or to try and clean up the whole engine

If your painting, you gotta get that engine spotless or the paint will flake!

Looks great man! Like Drewpy mentioned, the engine needs to be super clean for the paint to adhere if you go that route. I plan to use tons of degreaser with a pressure washer on mine. Then I'm gonna hit the parts with some adhesion promoter.

Thanks guys, doing my best to try and get the bike up to the high standard of the other bikes on this site. looks like its cleaning time , tried car alloy wheel cleaner on the alloy bits and its not bad but l like its going to be down to hard work to get that engine clean. then the even harder job of getting it going . will take pics as l go along.
