The more I read and sit looking at my 2 bikes the more uncertain I become. I have a 1978 with 18" mags front and rear, disc's front and rear. This bike is in fairly god shape and runs.
The other is a 1980, xs400's both, 18'mag front with disk and 16" mag rear with drum.
First of all I've never built a bobber/chopper, have no welding experience so I'll send that out.
First decision is to just have the swing arm extended, 3-4", and go from there. The other possibility is to hard tail it and go that way. My question for now, is:
Is it better or easier or whatever to alter one or the other of these bikes. I'm thinking of the rear brakes and there anchors and supports mostly.
Experiences, opinions or whatever, Please.
