Nice project fox! The seat looks good and i like the bracket you made from your kids training wheels lol, well done sir... Are those stock mufflers ? Is it safe to assume the sound in your video is from stock mufflers? .... oh and good luck with your tank!

I took a bird strike to the chest today at about 45-50 mph (left an ugly mess on my leather):mad: .. think those windshields would hold up to a small bird? Do they flex a bit?

I suggest starting with the basics . I want to assume the carbs haven't been cleaned in a while. it sounds to me like the idle jet is clogged a bit ... how does it sound when you rev it past idle rpm? Or maybe a long shot on the carb boots... they could be cracked and disrupt the mixture...
I'm probabley too late here but what the heck... maybe some one can dig this up later... i noticed in the picture the mufflers are "tacked" to the header pipe with some welds ... if you have a wheel grinder you grind down the tack points and then heat the muffler with a torch so it expands ...
