Didn't know what caused no spark last year and bought a new TCI. Turned out to be a bad connector in my headlight bucket. Now I have 2 working TCI's. I live outside St Louis MO.

Her is a stupid question. Just got a battery tender. I am going to connect the leads and then plug and unplug when I ride or store. Do I put the leads next to the batteryterminals or on the outside of the elec connectors of the bike? Tx alot, have a great day!

Got the bike started. Took the headlamp unit out to check ignition wirin. Hooked it all back up. Now the lights and horn don't work. Checked fuses they are ok. Anyone have any ideas. 1980 400 Special. Tx alot have a great day!

Hi everybody. Tried to start it Fri and Sat. Checked th plugs and the rt had gas on it. Could I have just flooded. The electrical sysem seems ok. Had it empty all winter. All fuel was drained out. Anyone have any ideas? Also of course has gas in it now. Supposed to get below freezing 3 or 4...

Washed the bike and waxed it this am. Took it out for about 15 min. Went out this afternoon, pushed the button all I got was a click. Kickstarts great. Took the batt to store, it checks out fine. batt terminals are clean. Battery was fully charged. Any ideas? 1980 xs400 special. Thanks alot...

Hi everybody, I have a 1980 XS400 special. It seems that when the bike has been sitting, and gets cold started that I have to prime it. Is that normal or is that just a quirk with the bike. Myself and another guy could not find gas leak anywhere. Thanks alot, have a great day!
