I recently picked up a 1980 special II with 16k miles for $400. This is how it I found it, stuck float so it just floors fuel out of the right hand carb.
Goal is to scramble it for a mostly road daily driver with some trail ability.

) will try and fix that
So far fluids drained, had to weld a nut onto the oil filter cover to get it off and found a metal shaving in it
so it'll be a rebuild to hopefully find whence it came
Everything's getting moved into the basement for a winter time project, day time high of 20F is not very conducive to work in the garage.
