I know this isn't an XS400, but I thought you Yamaha people would like this.
1966, Yamaha: YL-1
100cc Twin cylinder
This abandoned bike somehow found its way to me, with no title, no seat and missing several parts. It sat in my yard for several months untouched (other than picking away at it like scab...) Pretty gnarsty.
Time to bring it back to life. That IS a spray can paint job (I can't afford to be fancy). Rustoleum paint, really not bad even when looking at it up close.
In the process, gettin there...
Almost done
And finished! On the road with a new clean title and everything. I had to make the seat myself, that is the only unoriginal part on it. Without a doubt, the fastest 100cc I've ridden. Top speed at like 67-70 mph!
