Leaking oil?

In the last year, I have had to replace both cables. The throttle cable went out on me on my trip, I was able to increase the idle while driving, and idle to my appointment, then called a buddy to rescue me. (I am sure I wrote something up on it) Then recently the clutch cable went out, just outside my destination, and I was able to drive it to a parking spot near my destination. Then I needed a trailer to get it home until a cable showed up. So the clutch cable can be adjusted from both sides, its worth checking make sure the cable plastic sleeve is not binding up into the clutch. or the cable threads are not being frayed. So I don't know for a fact if your bike has this, but the older bike (my 81) has a idle adj screw between the carbs, that I can adj while driving. (apparently) I usually make micro adjustments while at stops, because the bike might want to die their. (its should be tool-less adjustable)
