Alright. So last year I started this thread: http://www.xs400.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12997 and never got around to fixing it... Shame on me. But anyway, the rectifier shows no continuity (tested like in the manual) in the connector between any leads. Am I doing something wrong or am I just the first person ever to have a rectifier go bad for no reason? The only person who responded last time seemed to be in disbelief when i said no continuity.
and regarding the replacement, found this
