The tires are actually the originals from 1978. I got the bike 2 years ago with 184 miles on it and now it has 1350 miles.

TIME FOR NEW TIRES!!!

the bike was stored inside the guys house off the floor for 25 years. The tires have absolutely no dry rot what so ever. When i got it 2 years ago they still had the little nubs on them. I put about 1100 miles on them this last season and no problems at all. But when I do get new tires I definately want to go wider on the rear.

no visible dry rot is what you mean. But rubber is an organic product - it deteriorates over time. I'm telling you one more time, get some new tires if you value your health.

Finally got through the paint process and here are the last pics of the custom wheel work. All paint was duplicolor graphite wheel paint , primer and matte clear coat. Opinions???

i find myself suddenly wanting mag wheels. This turned out looking good.

Yeah I agree they look great, I would never have thought this would look good.....but I like these a lot.
