well I had myself a beautiful 83 xs400r, i dumped it last year and banged her up pretty good, fixed her all up and rode it for the remainder of the season, having 27,000 miles on her and a few other broken pieces I wasnt quite happy with her. So I did some searching around the interwebs to find my new baby. after searching forever I happen to find another 83 xs400r. She looked really nice same color as mine same year... everything I was thinking this was perfect for me.
So I went out and bought the bike for just under 700, Tank was shot but other than that it looked really good, sounded good and ran good. Took it home and started swapping parts, with all the parts that I had I can build a close to 100% original part restoration. I was excited.
So im now in the middle of this rebuild and so far so good running into a few other issues but nothing i shouldnt be able to sort out.
