so in all here is what i bought
1 yard of vinyl 16.99 (got it 50% because coupons)
1 can of spray adhesive 6.49 (? not sure the exact price, doesn't work too great when left in the sun as i expected but it help long enough for me to do what i wanted to do)
1 pack of staples 2.50 (didn't need them for this like i thought but i need some anyway)

it was worth it, it saved me money and doesn't look that bad too me
