Bout time for an update i feel, been too busy what with the new child, having no spare cash etc to do much work but have started doing some more work again.
The electrics are DONE! Woohoo at last. I hated that job, elecs are not my thing, got everything mounted and working, the digital clocks look damn cool.
Found out why she didn't like to run very well the carbs were un donated back to me by a mate from where i used to teach motorcycle mechanic's as i donated them to the college after i'd rebuilt them, they had since been "studented" and they've sheared a pilot off in one side so it wouldn't tick over.
Luckily had two other sets to hand and stole half of one and made a lovely pair and she ticks over nicely now.
Exhaust is complete and secure and not blowing just needs the welds cleaning up when i do the strip down.
Had to ditch the XT125 front reservoir as it was just to gutless and had soooo much flex when you squeezed the brake, fitted the original XS item and it looks quite retro cool and has a nice solid bite to it.
Waiting for my number plate board parts to turn up to make that and fit the light also waiting for the offset front sprocket from a guy i found in the UK that does them for RD's.
