I just bought a 1980 400 xs as my first bike. And it appears when someone put on the seat they put it on a little crooked. I was wondering what was the best route to fix it? I was thinking about cutting it, sanding it, painting it, and rewelding it. But like I said its my first bike and I wanted to make sure it's the right thing to do. I can get better pictures when I get home if it helps. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum:) If it bothers you that much you can always fix it.

Thanks man. It's not that I'm like ocd and it bothers me haha, when I'm riding and hit bumps the spring on the bottom of the seat on the side that sits higher pops out of where it's sitting. Seems dangerous haha. Being that this is my first bike I just wanted to make sure I was going about fixing it correctly.
