Hello all,
Well, I have finally begun building my bobber. Like BNR's build I too have used the same bike for inspiration. So far I have cut and welded one side of the frame, and I'm now ready to weld the other side. I just thought I would share some photos and get some feedback. Enjoy, and I will keep updating the Pics as I go.
Thanks, sboo2266
:D

Like the look you're going for!

One thing concerns me though, will the bearings in the swingarm cope with the stress?
Or will you weld the swingarm in place? I'm not sure how strong it'll be or how this stuff works. :) Maybe someone else can jump in and spill the beans on how this works. :bike:

Thanks everyone.. Yes, I'm going to weld the support to the shock mount and I will weld the swingarm to the frame. I'm still trying to figure out where to put all the wiring and the logistics of the solo seat. Lots of fun... I will keep you posted.

well after a lot of thinking, I've changed my mind on what I wanted to do. I will be doing a full hardtail like the one from TC bros. This should look so much better and I will be able to get rid of the stock swingarm. Pictures soon, lots of parts on order and being shipped. Thanks for all the feedback.
Shane

Thanks Volcom.... I like how you have a double bend on the top tube, looks real nice. I might have to steal that idea, it sure would make everything come together nice. I got my two parts orders delivered, new headlight, shock for seat, bracket for seat, forward controls,battery(4''x3.5''x1''),faux oil tank, rear brake pivot, handlebars(drag),pod filters,ect.. I will take pictures soon.
