Just an FYI there is a difference with the (18") 77-79 xs400 and the (16") 80-82 rear sprockets. The 16" wheel ones are dished for an offset. Its about 4mm. I would think they did this for the wider (120) wheel. :)

Hi.... I have a hardtailed frame,made to suit a Harley Rear wheel.I want to fit a Yamaha SR250 rear wheel but can't find a spindle to suit.I can find threaded steel rod in the right dia. but am not sure if this is ok to use a as a wheel spindle? Any thoughts?? Cheers Roger
